This project captures a relaxed and joyful first birthday celebration held in a family home. I documented the day through a blend of natural portraits, candid interactions, and quiet details—focusing on genuine moments that reflect connection, tenderness, and childhood energy.

Shot on a Canon EOS 200D II and edited in Lightroom and Photoshop, the final images maintain a soft, natural tone and an honest, documentary feel.

My approach for this shoot was simple: blend in and observe. I worked with natural light and focused on interaction—capturing the child’s personality, quiet connections between family members, and the little details that define a personal celebration.

The tone of the edit is warm and soft, with muted highlights and gentle contrast, enhancing the lived-in atmosphere of the home and the emotional weight of the milestone.
